Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the My Dibs website and any enquiry or order made with us. By contacting us or placing an order, you agree to them.
1. An enquiry-based house
Our website presents the house and its work. Nothing is sold or priced directly on the site. Orders are formed only after direct discussion with us (by WhatsApp or email) and mutual confirmation.
2. Pricing
Prices are shared privately on enquiry and quoted for each piece. The price of a piece has two parts: the value of the silver (its weight at the prevailing silver rate) and the making charges for that piece.
3. Silver rate and how it is fixed
The silver rate moves daily, so the silver value of a piece is not fixed by placing an order or by paying an advance. You may lock your silver rate only by paying the full silver amount upfront at that day's rate. If the silver is not paid for in full, the final bill is calculated on the silver rate on the day the bill is made.
4. Making charges
Making charges are quoted per piece and, once quoted and agreed for your piece, remain fixed. They do not change with the silver rate.
5. Confirming an order (advance)
An advance is required to confirm any order. The advance commits the order and the making of your piece, but by itself does not lock the silver rate (see section 3). The balance is payable as agreed before delivery or collection.
6. Custom and made-to-order pieces
Bespoke commissions and Transform (reworked) pieces are made to your confirmed brief. As each is made by hand, slight variation in finish, weight, and detail is natural and is part of the craft, not a defect.
7. Handmade nature
All pieces are handcrafted. Minor variations in finish, weight, engraving, and colour are inherent to handmade silver and are not considered faults.
8. Trade orders
Trade, wholesale, corporate, and bulk orders are governed by terms agreed separately with the house.
9. Intellectual property
The images, designs, text, the My Dibs name, and the monogram on this site belong to My Dibs and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without permission.
10. Use of the website
The website is provided as is, for information. We take care to keep details accurate but do not warrant that everything is error-free or always available.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
