Gulzar
A pourer and cups made for a garden in bloom. The tall ewer rises on a curved spout to a domed, pierced lid crowned with a gold finial, its body worked in silver openwork over gold and scattered with meenakari flowers in rose, blue, and green. The tumblers answer it exactly, each carrying the same pierced scrollwork and enamelled bloom, silver within and gold-lit without.

The Detail
Worked entirely by hand in Jaipur, the set treats the act of pouring and serving into something to gather around: openwork that lets the gold breathe through, colour held to the flowers, a form that carries the ceremony of hosting. It is made for the table, and made to be brought out for guests.
