Chandan
A jug and cups carved all over in silver. The tall pourer rises on a curved spout to a domed, floral lid and a high looping handle, its body worked entirely in oxidised repoussé, with dense flowers and scrolling vine raised and shadowed against the metal. Four tumblers follow the same hand, each carrying the pattern unbroken from rim to base.

The Detail
Worked entirely by hand in Jaipur, the set holds to silver alone: no colour, only the depth of the carving and the shadow it catches, a warmth that comes from the oxidised finish rather than enamel. It is made for serving, and made to be brought out for guests.
