The Detail
Handwoven from fine silver metal thread in a close herringbone weave, this potli carries a deep sapphire-blue velvet pouch worked with gold zardozi and sequin sprigs, gathered under a twisted blue-and-silver cord. At its heart sits an oxidised kundan medallion set with a single amethyst, framed by seed pearls, with amethyst bead drops resting on the weave. A plain silver chain and two amethyst corner tassels complete a piece made to be carried slowly, and noticed closely.
