Amrit Dhara
A vessel made for the continuous flow of abhishek. Held above the deity, it lets water fall in an unbroken stream through the ritual, and here that daily act is given form: a domed jhumar crowning an arched back of gold foliage on silver, seated above a deep repoussé bowl worked in scrolling leaf. Green and red stone accents mark the arch, and the whole rests on sculpted feet.

The Detail
Worked entirely by hand in Jaipur, the piece holds the still centre of a ritual: gold lifted against silver, weight balanced over a fine base, ornament that never interrupts its purpose. It is made for daily worship, and made to hold it with grace.
