The Detail
The heaviest and most sculptural of the collection. Solid silver worked in deep repoussé, petals opening from a central lotus, with peacocks resting at the lower corners and a domed handle cast in leaf and vine. An amethyst-and-pearl drop falls from the crest; enamelled accents catch the light in green and rose. This is silver as sculpture, meant to be held and kept.
