Bagicha
A water bottle set in a garden. A peacock in green and blue enamel rests among a soft vine of pink and green flowers, worked over a gently oxidised ground, framed above by bands of lattice and scallop engraving and closed below by a petalled foot. Where the colour is kept pale and the flowers small, the whole reads like a quiet garden wrapped around the bottle.

The Detail
Worked entirely by hand in Jaipur, the piece places its peacock in the softest of settings: pastel enamel, fine floral vine, silver engraving holding the frame. It is made to be used, and made to be seen using.
